If you're not a Black Mirror fan, you can still give "On a Roll" a listen (along with the song's saccharine lyrics) below. She played a character named Ashley O whose pop music was hugely popular in the Black Mirror universe and now is becoming popular in real life too.

Are you a fan of Black Mirror and/or Nine Inch Nails? Cyrus also retweeted the reply.

The track, "On a Roll", is a remake of the 1989 hit song "Head Like a Hole" by the Nine Inch Nails.

While fans who've watched the "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too" episode of the series have already seen much of the video, there is a newly released ending that hints at the darkness lying below the surface of the ideal pop star.

No spoilers here if you haven't acquainted yourselves with the recent episodes of Black Mirror on Netflix, however if you have, keep your eyes peeled to social media tomorrow (Friday), as we're expecting a new track courtesy of Miley Cyrus' connection to the show, to drop.

The episode centres around a lonely teenager (Angourie Rice) who is fascinated by her favourite pop star Ashley O's robot doll.

Her supporting turn in Season 5 episode "Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too" seemed destined to go viral, and Netflix isn't taking any chances.
