O.J. Simpson's 2006 "if I did it" interview to air in 'O.J.

O.J. Simpson joined Twitter on Friday, and the former football star's debut on the social media platform went about as well as anyone could expect.

"Hey Twitter world, this is yours truly", he says, standing in a garden. "You get to read all my thoughts and opinions on just about everything". In his video, he said he had some "getting even to do". "So God bless, take care".

For more than a year, he has been out on parole after serving time in prison for an unrelated case. He was eventually released in October 2017.

Former NFL star running back O.J. Simpson managed to stay out of the headlines for almost a year. The reaction on Twitter has been mixed.

"Nice to see you taking a stab at this Twitter thing instead of your wife for once", one wrote.
