XFL's Rod 'He Hate Me' Smart found safe in SC

"He was found safe", a worker for the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office told The Post. The sheriff's office confirmed later Tuesday evening that Smart had been found and that he is safe.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office in SC posted Tuesday a missing person advisory for Smart, requesting assistance from the public in locating the 42-year-old, who was last seen on Wednesday, June 12, in Indian Land, a suburb of Charlotte. "We appreciate everyone's concern and assistance".

Lancaster County Sheriff's deputies asked for the public's help to find Torrold "Rod" Smart, 42, who was last seen last Wednesday. Smart's family stated that they were anxious about his safety and well-being. "Smart's family is anxious about his safety and well-being".

Smart was last seen driving a silver 2016 Nissan Maxima with the license plate PJR_1759, deputies said. He played one season with the Philadelphia Eagles and his last four with the Carolina Panthers. Smart has the nickname 'He Hate Me' according to social media posts.

Smart played college football as a running back at Western Kentucky and was signed by the NFL's San Diego Chargers in 2000 out of college as a free agent.
