Spidey's no stranger to responsibility of course, but with talk of the multiverse, a dead mentor to honour and interest from Nick Fury, it's clear Peter Parker will be juggling a lot both on and off the screen next month.

The first set of reviews from Spider-Man: Far From Home are out and everyone is all praises for the fun and witty storyline of the film, which takes place after Avengers: Endgame. Along for the ride is classic Spider-Man villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who in Far from Home is painted as an ally and friend. The post-credit scenes are a MUST WATCH & will blow your dang mind! Make sure you avoid the hell out of spoilers! Praise is pretty emphatic, with some even noting their surprise at just how well it handles the post-Endgame world established just the other month. "And Jake G is the unmitigated GOAT [greatest of all time]". It's funnier and more visually adventurous than Homecoming, with another killer soundtrack.

Brandon Davis of ComicBook.com teased the fact that Far From Home has major implications for the future of the MCU while telling an awesome, self-contained story (and he, as well, had kind words for Gyllenhaal, a recurring theme).

Wow, I was honestly not expecting this much love for this movie, but I'm glad to see people enjoyed it so much.

Gyllenhaal is incredible. Holland re-confirms as the best Spidey to date.

Reactions to the film have been overwhelmingly positive so far. Much like Ant-Man and the Wasp gave fans a nice change of scenery after the heavy emotions of Infinity War, this movie will seemingly be bringing comic book fans back into lighter territory once again.

For instance, next month sees the arrival of Spider-Man: Far From Home, the standalone sequel which will explore a post-Endgame world that's still reeling from the death of Tony Stark. Let us know in the comments!
