Harry Potter Wizards Unite: How to Get and Increase Magic Energy

"Wizards Unite" mobile game was initially scheduled to be released Friday, but it actually became available a day early.

Anyone who has played Niantic's other popular mobile game, Pokemon GO, will recognize inns as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite's version of Pokestops. Players in the launch regions can download the game for free starting today on the App Store for iPhone, Google Play for Android devices and the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store for Samsung devices. The first is that players must be level 6 in order to brew a healing potion in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The game has been launched in 19 languages.

Wizards Unite begins with a call to action from the Ministry of Magic for all Wizards to come together as the wizarding community is at risk of being exposed to the Muggle world.

The game has launched a bit early in the U.S. and UK. Sometimes you think you've drawn the spell perfectly, and in a very speedy fashion, and yet the game only seems to grant a "Great" or "Good". The game also offers a multiplayer mode, in which players can join as a new recruit of the Statue of Secrecy Task Force and join the team of witches and wizards from around the globe to find and solve the mystery along with they also have to look for foundables which includes artefacts, creatures, people and even memories.

Unlike Pokemon Go which allowed players to choose between three factions that would often battle for territory, the new Harry Potter game instead opts for a co-op experience where players unite for a common goal.

There is also a new story that unfolds within the game.

Pokemon Go exploded after its introduction in 2016, sending players into city streets, offices, parks and restaurants to search for colorful animated characters. While the "Pokémon Go" frenzy has died down, the game still makes money for Niantic, and has generated $2.6 billion in total revenue, per Sensor Tower data.
