Writer E. Jean Carroll has claimed that a friendly encounter with Trump at Bergdorf Goodman in 1995 or 1996 turned violent when the real estate mogul pushed her up against a dressing room wall, unzipped his trousers and forced himself on her. Carroll said that, in a "colossal struggle", she pushed him off and ran from the store. She said in an interview on CNN that Trump threw her up against a wall so hard that "I hit my head really hard: boom".

"Think of the fantasies", Carroll interjected.

As soon as the words fell from her mouth, Cooper stumbled on his words as he called for a break and said they had to cut to commercial.

CNN's Anderson Cooper spoke with Carroll tonight and asked her for her response.

"But I think most people think of rape as - it is a violent assault. I would never do that".

Ms Carroll never went to the police because, she said, she was afraid of repercussions.

'I was a competitive athlete. I did not freeze. "I thought of it as a fight".

'I was not thrown on the ground and ravaged. This was not sexual. "It just - it hurt".

She justified her definition of the attack citing the women across the globe enduring prolonged sexual assault in their lives.

In the Hill interview, Trump said Carroll was making up the story. I'm disgusted someone could think I'd do such a thing.

Addressing crowds at a rally, Mr Trump said "she would not be my first choice".

"We will take a quick break if you can stick around".

The account is included in Carroll's new book, of which NY published excerpts from.

Mr Trump said E. Jean Carroll was "totally lying" about the alleged attack in a NY department store.

'Enough is enough with this b******t!

"Male authors never get this question", Carroll said. The results speak for themselves!' She also added that she does not plan to file a criminal complaint.

The Twittersphere lit up with outrage over Trump's dismissal of E. Jean's claims as her not being his "type".

Trump says: "I'll say it with great respect: Number one, she's not my type".

In a truly freaky and uncomfortable moment of television, the woman accusing President Donald Trump of raping her in the 90s told CNN's Anderson Cooper that she believes most people think rape is "sexy". When the tape became public weeks before the November 2016 general election, Trump said he never acted in any of the ways described on the tape, and said it was just "locker-room talk". "I have no idea who she is". "I want women to know that I did not stand there". And I probably was, at that moment, in that five minutes, the most attractive woman in Bergdorf's. I know nothing about her, ' Trump claimed on Monday. "She is - it's just a awful thing that people can make statements like that". I am SO glad I'm not his type.

"With all the 15 women or 16 who have come forward, it's the same". He denies. He turns it around.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, more than a dozen women accused Trump of sexual misconduct in earlier years.
