The 775.5MB Windows 1.11 app will be a replica of the first public version 1985 Windows 1.0 OS.

Windows 1.0 was basically a skin of MS-DOS, letting users tile, but not overlap, application windows running programs like Calculator, Cardfile and Paint.

Over the weekend, Microsoft finally unveiled Windows 1.11 as an app for Windows 10 with special inclusions related to Stranger Things. The tech giant has now tied up with popular TV show "Stranger Things" and is coming out with a brand-new app - Windows 1.11 - which is now available on the Microsoft Store.

In addition, the company is giving away a Stranger Things prize package that includes a "Stranger Things 3 Collectible Arcade Cabinet".

After a few more posts, including videos that featured a wonky synthesizer soundtrack, it became clearer that it was a promo with Netflix to promote Stranger Things 3, which launched on the streaming channel 4 July. But fair warning: beware the Mind Flayer. More details, in addition to the expected date of demonstration of a new product, July 8, in the network yet.

"Before we move forward, are you sure you're ready to go know where?". He said the app is one of the most requested by users in terms of new UI design.
