Let's be honest. This past weekend, you probably splurged a bit because um, America. Duh.

Chick-fil-A is giving out free food in honor of their annual Cow Appreciation Day. "Either way, we're excited to celebrate with you on July 9th!" This annual promotion allows fried chicken fans to get a free entree at one of the 2,400 Chick-fil-A locations nationwide. Chicken nuggets are free, of course.

I would suggest checking with your local Chick-fil-A in advance of the event for operating hours. But just in case you aren't yet convinced about the merits of a chicken sandwich, you can get free Chick-fil-A on Tuesday, July 9.
