The Cuphead Show will be based on the hit video game (rubber hose animation too!) developed by Studio MDHR and released in 2017.

Executive producing THE CUPHEAD SHOW for King Features is C.J. Kettler of Netflix's CARMEN SANDIEGO fame.

Netflix, in partnership with King Features Syndicate and game developer Studio MDHR, has announced The Cuphead Show, a Netflix original series inspired by classic animation styles of the 1930s. Meanwhile, Netflix Animation will produce with Emmy and Annie award victor Dave Wasson, who is also set to executive produce.

Lukashenko backs Zelensky’s proposal to hold meeting in Minsk
We need to understand whether there are prospects for this kind of talks, we need to understand what sort of a format is on offer. It's going to depend on scheduling, but we hope to have that sooner rather than later", Volker said.

We're not sure when The Cuphead Show! will premiere on Netflix but considering how popular the indie title is, we hope to see it soon while it's still hot. Joining her for the effort will be Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer, who will executive produce via Studio MDHR.

"The character-driven comedy follows the unique misadventures of the impulsive Cuphead and his cautious but easily swayed brother Mugman", the official press release reads. "Through their many misadventures across their surreal home of the Inkwell Isles, they've always got one another's backs." said Netflix. Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse unusual worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil! The game will feature the eponymous Cuphead and his brother, Mugman, as they have to contend with their deal with the devil in a high-stakes gambling match. Cosmo Segurson serves as co-executive producer.
