Everwood and Star Trek: Insurrection Actress Stephanie Niznik Dead at 52

Washington D.C. [USA], July 13 (ANI): Hollywood actor Stephanie Niznik, popularly known for her role in "Star Trek: Insurrection" and "Everwood", died at age 52.

U.S. publication Variety reported that the death was "unexpected".

The show, which was broadcast on American TV channel The WB, aired from 2002 to 2006.

The actress also enjoyed a small role in a range of series including CSI: Miami and Grey's Anatomy.

So far, no cause of death has been revealed for Stephanie Niznik.

In 1998 the Duke University graduate landed the role of Trill Starfleet Ensign Kell Perim in Star Trek: Insurrection.

She appeared onstage along with her costars, including Treat Williams, Gregory Smith, Emily VanCamp, Tom Amandes, Debra Mooney, Vivien Cardone, John Beasley and Justin Baldoni, according to Entertainment Tonight. Since 2009, she has been in the movies The Twenty and NCIS, without working on displays or movies. She performed the position of Dot. A particular reunion was organized in honor of the collection' 15th Anniversary. Stephanie additionally pursued masters at Cal Arts.

Originally in Bangor, Maine, Niznik meant to work as a geneticist before graduating in theater and Russian from the Duke University. She then started her performing profession with roles in tv collection.

Stephanie Niznik is survived by her mother, brother and stepfather, and her dogs Nucleus and Jake.

Friends from her time at Duke have paid heartbreaking tributes to the star, describing her as "so kind".
