Meghan will have all eyes on her close friend Serena Williams as she fights for her 24th Grand Slam title against Romania's Simona Halep.

When asked about the negative press, Williams said she never reads anything about Meghan in the news.

"Compare that with the images we've seen of the Duchess of Sussex with two friends, huddled like survivors in a life-raft, alone on a sea of empty green seats in what has been described as an 'exclusion-zone.' Right now, it is the Royal advisers to Harry and Meghan who must up their game - or else hand in their fancy racquets on their way out the door", he said.

The palace also announced the Duchess of Cambridge will be joined by her husband Prince William at the Wimbledon men's singles final on Sunday afternoon. Just days earlier, Kate attended with British tennis players Katie Boulter and Anne Keothavong, where they supported Brit Harriet Dart, who played against the U.S.'s Christina McHale. That is all I want to be to her, ' the tennis champion went on to say.

An official organising Meghan's visit claimed it had been hard, telling The Times, "It was a nightmare, she was a nightmare".

The seven-time Wimbledon victor has a total of 23 grand slams under her belt - just one away from Australian player Margaret Court's record of 24 which has stood since the 1970s.

On Friday morning, Kensington Palace announced on Twitter, "The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, and The Duchess of Sussex will attend the Ladies' Singles Final at The Championships, Wimbledon on Saturday 13th July". However, Meghan drew criticism after rumors spread that she had asked her protection officers to tell spectators not to take her picture because she was at the tournament "in a private capacity".

Fans cheered loudest for Meghan and Kate.
The pair headed to King Power Royal Charity Polo Day on Wednesday, which took place at Billingbear Polo Club in Wokingham, Surrey.
