The Xiaomi Mi A3 will ship with stock Android 9 Pie straight out of the box as part of the Android One program but should receive an update to Android 10 Q before the end of this year.

Another key detail revealed through the renders is that the Mi A3 will feature a waterdrop notch on the top portion of the display which will be a 6-inch 2240x1080 AMOLED screen. Speculations of the launch increased after the company launched the CC9-series in China. We have heard few rumors about the phones, and the last one from XDA claimed that the new Mi A3 series could be powered by either Snapdragon 710 or Snapdragon 712.

On July 11, MySmartPrice leaked the specifications of Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite. Earlier this week, Xiaomi Global Spokesperson Donovan Sung also teased the arrival of new Mi A-series phones running Android One.

If these rumours are correct, then based on the CC9 spec sheet, it could be said that the Mi A3 could feature a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, a powerful Snapdragon 730 SoC, up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and triple camera setup.

For now, Xiaomi is busy with its fifth-anniversary sales and the recently launched Redmi K20 series smartphones.

There is no information available about the launch date of these devices. The phone is tipped to pack a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.79 aperture that will be assisted by an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor. The Mi A3 will run on a 4,000mAh battery and rely on a USB-C port for charging.
