This year, Amazon Prime Day, Amazon's big sale for Prime members, lasts two days instead of one.

Where most people will spend their day scanning for deals, Amazon.com is the central hub for this insane shopping event.

The Prime Day sales will officially begin on Monday, July 15, at 12 am and will last for 48 hours, till July 16, 11.59 pm.

It started as a simple sales promotion, but Amazon's Prime Day has now morphed into a major phenomenon joined by scores of retailers jockeying with the U.S. colossus for a bigger slice of the e-commerce pie.
