Maguire has informed Leicester of his desire to leave if the club receive a suitable offer before the close of the transfer window, with both Manchester United and Manchester City leading the way for his signature all summer.

According to Italian news outlet, Tuttosport, Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is the new target for AC Milan who want to sign a new centre back this summer.

Maguire played 45 minutes in Leicester's 1-0 friendly win at Scunthorpe on Tuesday and manager Rodgers spoke about the situation afterwards.

"It will be £60million up front plus £20m in add-ons making him the most expensive defender in the world. He did well in the first game here [against Perth Glory] and he's one of the exciting players I can't wait to see more of".

While few other transfer headlines have come out of Old Trafford since the signing of Wan-Bissaka, the story of United's summer will be defined by players still under contract.

It's World Emoji Day and Apple has taken the opportunity to unveil some of the new emoji that it announced at WWDC last month. Those include a guide/service dog, wheelchairs, a hearing aid, prosthetic limbs and more.

In further comments published by the Leicester Mercury, Rodgers added, "I respect and understand that if a team like Manchester United or Manchester City are interested".

The Foxes are believed to be stubborn in refusing to budge from their estimated £80m evaluation of Maguire while United are attempting to reduce that fee. "There's obviously been a lot of speculation surrounding him but we're relaxed about it". Harry is relaxed about it, we are, he's been absolutely brilliant.

"He's a premium player - a top class centre half and he's going to be coveted and there's a price to pay for that quality".

Striker Ayoze Perez, who signed for £30m from Newcastle this month, scored the only goal.
