Suffice it to say, his latest offering, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, looks to be a fine marriage of superhero fandom and what fans have come to love from movies such as Clerks.

Our first official look at Smith's Jay and Silent Bob Reboot leads us to believe he's not exactly looking to reinvent the wheel in regards to his approach to narrative or character, with the profanity-loving pair once again heading to Hollywood to stop a Bluntman and Chronic flick from getting made. Jordan Monsanto of Smodco is producing alongside Liz Destro for Destro Film.

Jason Mewes and writer-direct Kevin Smith reprise their respective roles as the foul-mouthed Jay and his far, far less talkative buddy for like the hundredth time - and this time it's meta.
