In space, no one can hear you scream.

Check out the official Ad Astra Trailer starring Brad Pitt! The clip opens as McBride sends a message through the stars, pleading for his father to make his presence known.

The film will see the astronaut attempt to unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of the planet as his journey uncovers secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos. And his dad may or may not have instigated it. The spectacle of a space-set story is definitely there, and I love the glimpses we get here of a colony on the moon, but the internal conflict of Pitt's central character is front and center here, and I am 1000% ready for a deep dive into this character's psyche. There are so many questions like what exactly happened out there that could have pushed the US Defense to go to McBride and ask him to bring his father home to answer for these mysterious and cataclysmic events?

The movie also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland.

Instagram is now hiding likes in Australia
With more test regions and accounts participating in the experiment, Instagram may have enough data to show in the future. When users upload a photo they will, of course, still be able to see how many likes they get - but no-one else will know.

While scenes from the trailer are already being compared to Christopher Nolan's 2014 film Interstellar, Gray told Collider in 2017 that he hoped the film would feel realistic despite it being sci-fi.

The second trailer gives us a more reflective, cerebral look at the film, opening with Roy, played by Brad Pitt, who is on a mission to find his missing father.

"Ad Astra" hits theatres September 20.
