Who will Amber save in Love Island recoupling?

"I'm just going to throw my pride out of the window and tell you how I feel because I do still like you.' I'd hate it if I didn't tell you and I left tomorrow". "I'm just letting you know that I do still like you".

Although Michael dumped Amber for Joanna Chimonides - who was evicted from the villa this week - he is set to apologise to Amber on Thursday's (18.07.19) show and tell her he still likes her after seeing her growing close to newcomer Greg O'Shea.

Greg O'Shea, a 24-year-old professional rugby player from Limerick, entered the villa last night, Tuesday July 16, and says he only has eyes for Longford's Maura. The full-time Irish sevens player, who played in last week's Olympic qualifier, has been single for the past year after coming out of a serious relationship and is hoping to get his faith in love restored again.

Amber's mother also told ITV's This Morning that it was "hard" watching her daughter cry on TV during her discussion with Michael. "But I think he should've been honest with her when she opened up her feelings to him when they went to that night out". Because of the whole way I think he's played it.

"Would you still have done this if she [Joanna] was still here?".

Before adding: "She's very naturally amusing and she's gorgeous as well so you never know".

"Yes", Michael said. "I would have to have this conversation".

Progress in US-China talks stall, Huawei remains on the table
There is an official expectation for GDP growth in 2019 between 6 percent and 6.5 percent which will, in turn, be lower than 2018. The trade war with the USA has hit demand for China's goods, compounding slowing demand from the rest of the world.

"And I just thought: 'Why are you staying?'"

We are yet to know if Amber will take Michael back, but we definitely don't think she should - especially as the new guy Greg seems, well, lovely.

Reflecting on the encounter in the Beach Hut, Amber said: "I actually can not believe what is happening!"

It looks like there may well be sparks between Amber and Greg as she emerges from their date on tonight's episode to tell her fellow islanders, "His accent is fabulous".

But is Michael too late to win her back?

Amber will have to make the decision when Love Island returns, with a stark dilemma facing her in the upcoming recoupling ceremony.
