Corvette Stingray Is Now Mid-Engined And Even More Mental!

The first ever mid-engined Corvette is here and it is also the fastest and the most powerful entry-level Corvette ever. "But from an image and excitement standpoint. that halo effect the Corvette fills is unique". The auto ceased production this summer. Expect the new USA sports vehicle to take on more expensive mid-engine machinery from the likes of McLaren and Ferrari when more potent versions of the Corvette are released in due course - most likely with a supercharged tang to make things interesting. But industry analysts say the vehicle helps the company's image, showing that it can build a sports auto that performs with top European models. Prices of other versions weren't announced but the current auto can run well over $100,000 with options, still thousands cheaper most than European competitors. He drove three hours to the unveiling in his dad's 2017 Grand Sport - with his mom in the passenger seat.

The eighth-generation Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is the first mid-engine version in the model's history, and promises supercar performance at a bargain basement price less than $60,000.

"He was shocked. He didn't think I'd be able to drive it like I did", he said.

One enthusiast set to attend, John Elegant, 72, said he has been waiting since his teenage years for a mid-engine Corvette. Over four years ago, he put down a deposit with a dealer for the C8. It means using a Corvette in the United Kingdom everyday will become much easier, which should help boost interest in this American icon.

"There are other brands that make really good muscle cars, like Mustang, but a Mustang is not a sports vehicle".
