Maurizio Sarri has hinted he would like Paul Pogba to leave Manchester United and join Juventus.

Although, a report from the player's camp revealed the midfielder would remain at the club until next summer, but his agent Mino Raiola insists his move could still be on the cards.

"I am not the technical director", Sarri told reporters in Singapore ahead of Juventus' International Champions Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. He is a very good player and top-class as a person as well.

"I like him very much, but he's a Man Utd player".

"He'd (Pogba) be in my team all the time".

According to a report in Marca, United don't want to sell the midfielder and have now asked a sum which is beyond Real Madrid.

Real Madrid remain the club most heavily linked with the 2018 World Cup victor, although the latest gossip from Spain suggests that Los Blancos may be ready to shelve their interest for another year after failing to make any headway in the deal.

Pogba is now with Manchester United on their pre-season tour of Australia and Asia. "We will see. Will he stay in Manchester?".

Meanwhile, Manchester United have made it clear time and time again that they are counting on the player by having him participate in the pre-season, and even putting him in the starting lineup against Leeds as recently as this Wednesday.

"Seventy per cent of what happens on the pitch, I would like to see my style. I can play as a No. 8, box-to-box midfielder, but I'm a No. 10 as well, and I can shoot on goal".

De Ligt finally completed his €75m summer move from Ajax earlier this week and Sarri admits he will play some part against Spurs. "If everybody is ready when the important things start, I think we have a great chance to reach all of our objectives".
