Crystal Palace reportedly want Celtic target Carl Jenkinson

Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi, has admitted he may be forced to leave the club, if they eventually land Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

It is unclear if Arsenal is still interested in Wilfried Zaha but what's for sure is that they will not accept to spend £80million on him as they have a lot of positions to fill.

Not only did Crystal Palace reject the proposal on the part of their fellow Londoners out of hand, but the Eagles" hierarchy were said to have been left "incensed" and "furious'.

Then, on the 18 of July, it was reported that Zaha had told Palace that he wished to leave the club.

Following his exploits at the African Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast, Zaha is said to have informed the Crystal Palace hierarchy that he still wants to be sold.

Though Palace were reportedly left "furious" and "incensed" by Arsenal's opening proposal, Unai Emery remains hopeful of landing the Ivory Coast global.

Arsenal are now tipped to launch a new push to sign Zaha in the coming days.

Eagles boss Roy Hodgson complained this week of a lack of options in defence and could be tempted by the player's versatility.

"Maybe you think: 'Football is not for you and you don't want to play no more.' But it's good to have that self-motivation to believe you can prove your critics wrong".

"I think he is back after we play Bristol City and before we play Hertha Berlin - that gives him his three weeks off".
