During the "Veronica Mars" panel, Bell declared that she wanted Hulu to release all eight episodes of the revival immediately, in honor of her birthday, which was Thursday.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated Veronica Mars Season 4, Hulu surprised fans by releasing the full season a whole week early.

The fourth season sees Mars embracing her detective role professionally, a path she first started in high school when she took it upon herself to find out who murdered her best friend Lilly Kane (Amanda Seyfried). You have to keep talking about the show until you can't possibly fit any more marshmallows in there, which is why a trash can is an absolute must.

While it's a shame that Mac didn't make an appearance in the eight-episode revival, it's heartening that the excuse for her absence didn't involve her leaving her job at Mars Investigations. "I want it on the internet right now for my birthday, Hulu!".

Michelle Obama weighs in on Trump feud
Adam Kinzinger of IL tweeted that it was "ugly, wrong, & would send chills down the spines of our Founding Fathers". It was also the latest demonstration of how Trump's verbal cannonades are capable of dominating the news.

Season 4 reintroduces Veronica as a disillusioned adult, still working petty infidelity and harassment cases among Neptune's one per cent: the show opens on Veronica helping a divorcée (Eliza Coupe) whose smart home has been turned against her - a nice way of showing us how the passage of time has brought new potential to a pleasurable old formula. That is, until a series of targeted bombings hit the very lucrative spring break celebration.

Other cast in attendance included Francis Capra, Percy Daggs III, Ryan Hansen, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Enrico Colantoni and Jason Dohring.

To amp you up for the big viewing night, be sure to catch the first three seasons of the series on Stan along with the 2014 movie.
