"That is such a powerful journey to see anybody take, but certainly to see a woman on screen represented in that way: a flawed superhero with a gray moral compass coming to terms with what's happened to her", Johansson told Entertainment Weekly this year. Specifically, Black Widow and Hawkeye's adventures there. However, there was also some filmed footage showcased exclusively for the Hall H crowd. Black Panther debuted in 2018 to the tune of $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office and became the first Marvel Studios movie to win an Academy Award, taking home three of the coveted prizes. "And I'm looking to wipe out some of that red in my ledger, so you guys will be seeing a lot of that", Entertainment Weekly quoted Johansson as saying during the Comic-Con panel. Director Cate Shortland was in attendance with cast members Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz. We already saw the on-set photos of Scarlett Johansson in action for the standalone film on Natasha Romanoff.

All in all, it looks like Black Widow is shaping up to an intriguing film that is reminiscent of the stellar choreography and spy intrigue-heavy Winter Soldier.

Black Widow's first solo film has been shooting in London for 30 whole days - and we barely knew it! Natasha only survived their encounter because James Woo and other SHIELD agents came to her rescue. Actually, she works very rarely, she's a real auteur.

Black Widow is now set to release to theaters May 1, 2020. Not just that, the release date and cast of the film have also been revealed! Phase 1 was origin stories, then we had "The Avengers" and phase 3 ended with the last "Spider-Man".
