Dragon Quest’s Hero DLC announcement coming tomorrow but may release July 31st

Along with Banjo-Kazooie, Hero is one of the most anticipated fighters for Ultimate, a game that is already jam-packed with a whos-who of Nintendo, and non-Nintendo related characters. Ultimate game for the Nintendo Switch system will be featured at EVO, and it will be the final game on the main stage to close out the event on August 4, Sunday night.

This is pure speculation, however, when the last DLC character Joker was released, the game update 3.0.0 went up with him, so based on those details, we can see the Dragon Quest Hero may drop with update 4.0.0. Ultimate update. Meanwhile, the post shared on Twitter has been deleted.

AM EST, and will feature series director Masahiro Sakurai in a roughly 22 minute demonstration of the Hero as he appears in the game.

Prior to this reveal, rumors swirled the internet for close to two weeks as to when Nintendo was going to announce Hero's release date. This is the first year the Super Smash Bros. No specific release date was ever presented with the ad, just a mysterious, "available in summer", quote. Ultimate could be made available to players very soon.
