Cuomo was particularly put off by the name and the underlying meaning of being called that.

Warning: This story contains a video with explicit language.

A CNN spokesperson told The Post: "Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup". However, that innocuous piece of flattery does little to placate the anchor, who says: "If you want to play, we'll f*cking play" and goes on with his rant peppered with profanities.

"We completely support him", they concluded. It's an insult to your f*cking people. "That's the Point with Brandon" host Brandon Recor told The Washington Post that the man who sent it to him said the confrontation began when he went up to Cuomo to ask for a picture. "I'll f*cking throw you down the stairs like a f*cking punk", Cuomo says with his temper flaring.

"You did not think my name was f****** Fredo, don't be a liar", Cuomo says during the clip.

Cuomo hosts "Cuomo Prime Time" on CNN. This person wanted to start some s*** with Cuomo and got more than he bargained for.

The man says that he believed "Fredo" was Cuomo's name, which sets off the CNN anchor.

Body found in search for missing teenager Nora Quoirin in Malaysia
Nora's family said they were convinced she had been abducted but the Malaysian police have said there were no signs of foul play. Parents Meabh and Sebastien made an emotional plea saying their "hearts are breaking" as the reward money was announced.

"Guys, I'm Italian. "Fredo" is not an ethnic slur", wrote Emily Zanotti, an editor at the conservative outlet the Daily Wire. As things get more heated, Cuomo tells the man "I'll f--ing wreck your sh-t".

Mr. Dornic was replying to Donald Trump Jr., who had retweeted the video and said he assumed the network wouldn't comment because it's not a real news organization.

Cuomo found support in unlikely corners, ranging from rival Fox News host Sean Hannity to one-time White House spokesman Anthony Scaramucci, while his critics spanned Trump 2020 campaign representatives and other journalists.

"I say good for @ChrisCuomo", Hannity commented.

At one point, while the shaky camera was moving around, someone who sure sounded like Cuomo could be heard egging someone else on, saying, "Take a swing!" "He's out with his 9 year old daughter, and his wife, and this guy is being a jack-ss in front of his family".

It's officially Not Safe for Work, but here's Chris Cuomo throwing down with a man he calls a "punk-a** b****".
