Norfolk airport announces nonstop flights to Florida

The routes, scheduled to start in mid-November, will have fares as low as $49 for a one-way trip. "We're certain that area travelers will love having a convenient, affordable option to get to the Sunshine State".

"We're excited to add two more remarkable destinations to our service in Indianapolis", said Allegiant Vice President Drew Wells.

"New, nonstop service to Sarasota/Bradenton is ideal for a warm winter getaway", said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue.

There will be twice-weekly service between Sioux Falls and Punta Gorda, Florida.

Allegiant Airlines announced Tuesday it will begin offering flights from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport in Florida for as low as $69. Allegiant's Sarasota flights for Northern Kentucky will also increase from three days a week to five times a week.

The Sarasota flights mark the 32 non-stop destination and Allegiant's tenth route from Louisville.

Routes to and from Palm Beach will include Pittsburgh (November 14); Charlotte, North Carolina (November 15); Knoxville, Tennessee (November 15); Indianapolis (November 21); Asheville, North Carolina (November 25) and Cincinnati (November 25). This brings to six the number of cities that Allegiant reaches from South Bend.

Allegiant offers a unique option to Asheville-area travelers with low base fares and savings on rental cars and hotels.
