OnePlus Confirms What Its Smart TV Will Be Called

OnePlus said in its latest forum post that the OnePlus TV was created with its "Never Settle" spirit and "burdenless" design philosophy.

OnePlus TV is set to become a reality soon.

Welcoming the TV logo announcement, OnePlus has further explained how they have finalized the design. "The company will continue to evolve the OnePlus TV, as well as the brand's other mobile devices, to develop innovations that make sense for its users to always create the best experience possible", noted the press note.

"OnePlus is committed to the vision of a connected home environment". Nearly one year after announcing plans to launch TV, OnePlus on Wednesday revealed the name and logo of its 'OnePlus TV'. However, a recent report suggested that the launch could take place sometime in late September.

The community manager also unveiled the logo of the product, saying it was inspired by "classic geometric progression such as the ancient Hindu symbol, the mandala". We have also been introduced to a minimal logo that goes along with the name.

The Chinese company teased about the television previous year in September. The blog notes "a big prize for the first one who named it OnePlus TV". Currently, it is unknown at what stage is the testing development at, but if near completion, there is a possibility that Jio apps would come pre-installed with the OnePlus TV. The listing further revealed the model number, screen size parameters ranging from 43 to 75 inches and also the expected markets, which include Indian, US, and Chinese markets. Last year, it had started the "OnePlus TV: You Name It" contest that asked its fans to name the upcoming TV.
