Maddox's decision to attend the South Korean college came after months of USA and worldwide campus tours - including a stop by NYU - before he settled on Yonsei. Maddox is moving to Seoul, South Korea to reportedly study life science and biotechnology at the prestigious Yonsei University, which is regarded as one of the best in the country.

"I look forward to all he will do", the actress said.

Angelina - who adopted Maddox from an orphanage in Cambodia - helped him settle in before she headed back home to America.

In the video, Angelina is seen confessing that she is "trying not to cry" as she drops Maddox off.

When he was accepted into the school, Jolie told People: "I'm nothing but proud".

"Angelina laid out a path for Maddox and a love of Asia, but she never thought he'd continue his studies in South Korea, let alone go to college there and study biochemistry".

Meanwhile, when Yonsei University designated human rights and gander education as mandatory courses for freshmen starting next year, it is known that some school groups have recently acted against the move.

A source previously said that Maddox never felt like he's Pitt's son because they never had a close relationship with each other. Journalists at Globe magazine suggest that Angelina Jolie is an insidious mother.

Earlier this week, the 44-year-old actress was spotted dropping her eldest child, 18-year-old Maddox, off at college.

Several years ago, Maddox also made headlines after it was revealed that he stood by his mom side amid Jolie and Pitt's divorce.
