Ghanaian kid Callum Hudson-Odoi has returned to full scale training with Chelsea.

Rudiger, 26, will now be monitored for any adverse reaction to the knee injury that has kept him out since April.

And Lampard sees the 18-year-old as a key part of his plans in an already-youthful team emerging at Stamford Bridge - starting next month.

Chelsea on their twitter handle shared images of the winger in training, challenging his team-mates and passing the ball during a training session.

Should Callum Hudson-Odoi go on to sign a new five year deal at Chelsea, then the winger will be earning £200,000-per-week.

New Blues boss Frank Lampard recently reported that the forward had stepped up his recovery and was training with the U23s.

Manager Frank Lampard revealed last week that the youngster would soon be available, and the latest images have confirmed his return.

Juventus star hints at potential retirement
The five-time Ballon d'Or victor is uncertain when he will stop playing, although the star forward said it may not be far away. I still feel motivated to win individual and collective trophies, and if I wasn't, I would end it [career].

"I want to improve him as a player and he can show right here at Chelsea, the club he came through the academy at, that he is going to be an absolute world-class player - because I truly believe that".

"It's good news for us".

But Hudson-Odoi now looks to be staying in West London.

Hudson-Odoi played 23 games last season for Chelsea scoring five goals and also provided five assists which caught the attention and interest of German club Bayern Munich.

The Chelsea boss will be desperate to record his first win of the season.

England global Callum Hudson-Odoi who now plays for Chelsea is reportedly set to sign a new five-year deal with the Premier League giants.
