The trailer depicts a cute family of four. Zaira's entry is strong, and her voiceover informs audiences that it is her character's terminal illness which will play the unlikely "villain" in the love story. The know-it-all actress also released three singles and soared up great heights in her music career. Starting from their early days of romance to their wedding to their accidental child, the trailer perfectly captures the ups and downs shared by the couple. Aisha had expressed her desire to watch the film to her parents.

When Priyanka Chopra missed out on the 2019 VMAs and ended up Photoshopping herself into a picture with hubby Nick Jonas, the internet giggled along with her meme. Going by the trailer, The Sky Is Pink certainly looks promising. Post Priyanka's befitting reply to a Pakistani girl who questioned her patriotism many Pakistanis had tried to move UNICEF to remove her from the post of it's brand ambassador. Meanwhile, "The Sky Is Pink' is based on the story of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis". Spanning 25 years, the film tells of a romance between Panda and Moose, as seen from the perspective of their dead teenage daughter. The film was premiered recently at the Toronto International Film Festival and is all set to release worldwide on October 11 this year.
