(It is moving to nix menthol now, too.) And if you want to keep kids away from vaping and whatever it is that's putting people in the hospital, making electronic-cigarettes less appealing is a strategy that studies indicate could work.

DPH is unsure if this is related to more awareness of the dangers of the products or a new chemical causing the problem. "In a very short period of time", said Trump. And I'm hearing it, and that's how the first lady got involved.

She added that people in MA "can get a better sense of the overall burden" of the situation. At least six people have died from a mysterious lung illness.

Hunter Sims, 20, is a current Texas A&M University student and was admitted to CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital on Saturday. And that's true. But in our view protecting children from developing addiction to nicotine outweighs that concern. The jarring rate at which teens have adopted devices like the compact, easy-to-hide one made by Juul Labs Inc. has made health officials in Washington and around the country snap to attention. Altria shares fell as much as 1.7% in NY trading on Wednesday.

"To me, [these illnesses] just prove that it's the unregulated market that's causing these issues-and it's actually a call for [cannabis] legalization because then there's a clear set of rules that people have to follow".

Data published by PHE in February shows the number of children and young people trying vaping is on the rise.

More than 450 cases of the respiratory condition were reported as of September 6, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Trump signals could meet with Iran, as security hawk Bolton exits
Zarif has often said that a so-called "B-team" including Bolton could goad Trump into a conflict with Tehran . He invited Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif to attend sideline meetings at the G-7 conference in August.

The exact cause of the deaths and illnesses have not been determined, but most are initially believed to be related to vaping counterfeit marijuana products containing vitamin E oil, which is unsafe if inhaled. "There's been over 450 cases of reported to health departments and the CDC of vaping-associated lung injury".

This had not only boosted the vaping industry but also dampened the traditional cigarettes as prolonged tobacco smoking could lead to lung cancer, breast cancer, emphysema and heart disease.

"Parents are going to be a lot tougher with respect to their children", said President Trump Wednesday. To be safe, public health officials are cautioning people against vaping anything until they know for sure. It's really not wonderful.

Today (Sept. 11), the Trump Administration announced that it plans to finalize a policy that would remove non-tobacco-flavored e-cigarettes, such as mint and menthol flavors, from the USA market.

"It'll take several weeks for us to put out the final guidance that will announce all the parameters around the enforcement policy".

"An outright ban on them would definitely hurt small businesses in the area", said Alex Keenan.
