Apple may steal Netflix streaming crown, but only for a year

The Disney CEO has officially resigned from his position and is no longer associated with Apple.

Needless to say, this is an important achievement that comes just at the right time, albeit many analysts expected this to happen after the unveiling of the new iPhones anyway.

As companies Apple and Disney have a lot in common. It first hit the mark in August 2018. Specifically, analysts seem generally pleased by the low prices of Apple's new products and services. And Apple will give users a free year when they purchase an Apple device.

That may suggest that iPhone 11's lower price can have a positive impact on Apple's global sales.

Amid Tuesday's news that Apple TV Plus will launch on November 1st and cost $US5 per month, apparently Iger decided it was time to step down.

Iger's acquiescence was legitimate on September 10, the day Apple declared the discharge date and estimating for its new gushing administration, Apple TV+, which will progressively collide and rivalry with Disney's new spilling administration, Disney+, set to make a big appearance November 12. For some reason the two companies left it until the very last minute for Iger to clear off, despite the two competing service having been in development for months.

It's a smart idea if Apple is serious about filling that iPhone-sized growth hole and persuading more owners of Apple devices to try TV+ or other Apple internet add-ons. Coincidentially, the recently announced pricing for Apple TV+ is $4.99. In fact, this may be one of the rare occasions that Apple is being realistic about what it can feasibly pull off as it muscles its way into the streaming fray. But Apple TV+ won't have as much content as its rivals - it will only stream original shows. This doesn't account for sales of other Apple products.

Up to six family members can share one Apple TV+ subscription and watch using their own Apple ID and password, with content available to view either online or offiline.

November 1 will see the launch of Apple TV+, and for a change, it won't be coming exclusively to Apple devices.
