Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles won't be on the sidelines today as his team takes on the Texans, as he is unable to travel per doctor's orders in the wake of surgery to fix his collarbone.

However, if you think about it, the Houston Texans will be facing a rather inexperienced Gardner Minshew this week but he actually did perform considerably well in Nick Foles' stead. Instead, they allowed the Jaguars to convert two fourth downs, including a fourth and ten, as part of a 14-play, 68-yard touchdown drive. The Jacksonville Jaguars ground game is averaging 81 yards per contest, and Leonard Fournette leads the way with 66 yards on 13 carries.

The Jacksonville Jaguars suffered two losses during Week 1. Houston lost on a long field goal in New Orleans. A big shoutout to Stephen Forsha for answering a few questions for us ahead of the game today in Houston. Deshaun Watson is completing 66.7 percent of his passes for 268 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Kenny Stills had a 31-yard reception to get the Texans to the 4 with 16 seconds left. He also finished as the Jaguars' leading rusher with 56 yards on the ground.

Ramsey's trade request stems from that confrontation and his frustration with his usage in the 0-2 Jaguars' defense, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

AFC South rivals clash in Houston this weekend when Gardner Minshew makes his first National Football League start or the Jaguars, who visit the Texans at 1:00 p.m. ET.

The Jaguars are 0-1 as well. Houston will be in for a tough one when they head out west to face the Los Angeles Chargers.

Jaguars are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. AFC South. Last week that the Houston Texans could have missed their very first match of this summer season, however, it had been a struggle to the final!

Texans are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 2. However, I question how the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to move the ball with an inexperienced quarterback on the road, especially with the Texans defense improved from a year ago. Through two games as a Texan, the former Bronco has tallied 11 combined tackles.
