But one particularly bad outing has just cost a veteran National Football League kicker his job.

The Buffalo Bills announced on Saturday morning that quarterback Josh Allen cleared the concussion protocol and was expected to play on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

The 27-year-old Parkey has made 99 of 118 field-goal attempts in a career that included stops in Cleveland and Miami. The other two, however, were from 38 yards out.

"It was a very painful, extremely disappointing day", Santos said after the game, per the Titans' official website.

You never want to put a loss all on one player, but it is really hard to justify leaving 12 points on the field in a game where that would have given the team a 19-14 win.

Knicks’ Marcus Morris won’t be suspended after Flagrant 2 ejection vs. Wizards
Morris did not know a suspension would count for a regular season contest and said he was "unprofessional". Despite losing Morris early in the game, the Knicks defeated the Wizards 104-99.

Both Marcus Mariota and wideout Corey Davis tried to pick Santos up after the loss. He is 4 of 9 in field goals on the season.

Davis blamed Santos' struggles on a tough day.

As of right now it hasn't been released on who will be replacing Santos or David Quessenberry who was also released today.

Through the first five weeks of the season, Cairo Santos has manned the kicker position for the Titans. Succop was placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury, and is not eligible to return until after Week 8.

The last time that Parkey kicked in a game, it was the NFC Wild Card Game between the Bears and Philadelphia Eagles.
