In a first, Saudi Arabia allows women to join armed forces

Saudi Arabia has affirmed the implementation of its global commitments on the empowerment of women, including the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.

The role of PM Imran Khan gets significant importance for the establishment of regional peace as the preparations for his next visits have been commenced, diplomatic sources said.

According to the sources Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister Office has suggested October 12 and 13 for PM's visit.

Saudi Arabia, which is locked in several proxy wars in the region with arch foe Iran, has blamed Tehran for attacks on Saudi oil plants on September 14, a charge Iran denies.
