Jennifer Aniston has spoken about the recent mini Friends reunion and her views on rebooting the classic sitcom.

Aniston - who won an Emmy Award in 2002 for playing Rachel Green on "Friends" - also noted she felt slightly insulted when people overlooked her dramatic abilities. "I didn't lecture him, I was just saying what I would hope if I was to do this, what I would hope it to be".

The 50-year-old actress also admitted that at the time, she "was such a young twit" because she confronted Michaels about the treatment of women on the SNL set.

"It was very civilized, we laughed a lot", she said.

"We stood as a solitary unit and asked for the exact same, equal pay", she recalled.

When it comes to a Friends reboot, it wouldn't take much money to get Jennifer Aniston on board - but that doesn't mean she'd ever actually do it. Then, about four months later, the whole s- hit the fan and, basically, we had to start from scratch. The 5o-year-old actress said that she turned down being a 'Saturday Night Live' cast member because of the 'boys club' environment.

She further added that she was enjoying being single for now.

"A rare night and I love it", the Cougar Town star caption a photo of herself, Aniston and Le Blanc.

Jennifer added: "We all miss it, every day. So it's weird that it's all of a sudden getting telegraphed in a way that's like, 'You look fantastic for your age.' I think we need to establish some etiquette around that dialogue and verbiage".

The actress returns to the small screen for the first time since Friends went off the air with the Apple TV Plus streaming service series The Morning Show, debuting November 1.

She explained: "I honestly think we would love it, [but] I really think there is an idea that if there is a reboot of the show it won't be even close to as good as what it was".
