Finally, we know who we are - fans of Harry Style's new single. In isolation, lines like "Never coming back down/Can't you see/I could, but wouldn't stay" scan as banal Noel Gallagher-style acid trip nonsense.

"All the lights couldn't put out the dark running through my heart / Lights up, and they know who you are".

The former One Direction hunk has shared his first new music in nearly two years with the lead single from his as-yet untitled second solo album.

In it, Harry writhes around with a group of men and women, wears sequins, croons from the back of a motorbike and is eventually stopped by police.

Many posted messages on social media expressing their delight - and some said they were so overwhelmed that they were actually in tears.

Turnovers have been a double-edged sword for Golden Knights early
Vegas jumped out to a 2-0, first-period lead for the third straight game, netting two goals in the span of 1:44. They could have certainly capitalized a few more times if not for a few timely saves from Marc-Andre Fleury.

Ever the generous rock star, Styles also released the track's accompanying, steamy-as-hell video, which was filmed in Mexico.

The song might best be described as a grower (give it a few listens) but it's the video that's really gotten fans excited.

"You've heard it so much by this point, you forget that people haven't heard it before".

"Lights Up" follows Harry's self-titled debut solo album, which he released in 2017. Styles is no stranger to statement lead singles: He introduced his debut albumHarry Styleswith "Sign of the Times", a almost six-minute-long piece of feathery, melodramatic rock balladry.

It is thought that Lights Up is from his second solo offering.
