Alexa can now speak to you in Spanish in the US

Today, Amazon says the multi-lingual mode for US speakers is formally live the nation over, permitting clients of both Echo and Alexa-fueled gadgets to switch among Spanish and English. Will you be using the new Spanish mode in the U.S.? So Alexa will understand and respond to you in whichever language you talk to her in, just as a bi-lingual person would. You'll be able to ask Alexa to play your favorite music, ask for the latest news and what's the current weather in specific places, control their connected smart home devices, add reminders, etc.

In the future, Amazon will expand Alexa's Multi-lingual feature to India with support for Indian English and Hindi, as well as to Canada with support for Canadian English and French.
