Riot Games is adamant, however, that League of Legends: Wild Rift is not simply a port of the PC MOBA.

Riot Games promised to reveal more details about Project A in 2020, so we may be looking at a 2020 or a 2021 release. But not all characters in the game will be known by League players - some will be entirely new. Importantly, Wild Rift will be released on mobiles and consoles, and the mobile version of the game will support controllers if that's your preference.

How handy for Riot to make a Disney comparison as they expand their brand into a great many new genres and stake a larger claim on player time and mindshare. And yes, many of them will be coming to mobile as well. Now we're learning that Riot is developing a bunch of new games, including a shooting game, a fighting game, a card game called Runeterra, and an open-world game, the latter three taking place in the League of Legends universe. However, unlike most hero shooters, characters die in only a couple of shots, making this a game where precision aiming and fast reflexes really help out.

The United States has blamed Iran for a series of attacks on ships in the Gulf of Oman this year, which it denies. Iranian state television reported the alleged attack resulted in an oil leak, which they say was later plugged.

Pre-registration is already available on Android devices. Would you like to see this new version of LoL released on Switch? It will be free to download and play, and the developer promises that you can earn all its champions without having to pay a cent - you apparently never have to pay for anything if you don't want to.

Riot Games is developing a stylish, competitive, character-based tactical shooter for PC, temporarily codenamed Project A. The game is set on a lovely near-future Earth and has a lethal cast of characters, each with unique abilities that create tactical opportunities for their gunplay to shine. Additionally, gamers who log in every day starting October 17th will get a gift after playing a game, as long as their accounts were opened before October 15th.
