Epic Games, Fortnite's creators, announced that Season 10 of the shoot-'em-up survival video game would end on October 13.

It looks like this is a transition to Fortnite Chapter 2, a major update to the game that includes a brand new map and fresh mechanics like boats. Yesterday evening the Fortnite Chapter 2 trailer leak emerged showing some weapons, skins and new modes that we will find in the game as soon as it becomes available again later in the week.

Fortnite Battle Royale amassed over 125 million users during its first year on the market, and has expanded to iOS and Nintendo Switch platforms. The battle pass also works slightly different compared to past seasons.

The game has become an worldwide craze, mostly among teenage boys, since launching in 2017. While the B.R.U.T.E mech has already been nerfed, Epic Games needs to avoid introducing new content that's too gamebreaking for its players for the game's longterm health. There is also a support element-players can carry a fallen teammate to safety. Of course, the new location will be changing and evolving as new updates and seasons for the game releases.

Also note that it expires before the new Pixel Buds launch, so you won't be able to use it towards that purchase. Japan will, however, receive the Pixel 4-series even though it has regulatory surrounding 60GHz transmissions.

Fortnite Chapter 2 has begun! It was a gutsy stunt-marketing move by Epic Games, aimed as much at getting the attention of those who haven't played the game in recent months as hardcore fans. Stealth could also play an important role in the new era as a player character jumps silently from a dumpster and prepares to ambush unsuspecting players. Following this, the game remained unplayable and the servers were shown to be offline.

Additionally, Epic Games introducing the very big B.R.U.T.E mech robot mounts in the Battle Royale was generally disliked by many of its players.

Some of the new material brings to mind other games.

Though the bots are created to act like real players, they're not quite as capable, meaning you can easily tell the difference between human and machine...most of the time. Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 1 is officially here and that means it's time to take a look at the brand-new map that Epic Games has put together.
