The Mandalorian's First Episode Includes Major Star Wars Spoiler

The humanoid-reptilian species first appeared in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and have become a firm fan favorite appearing in multiple animated series, comics, and novels.

The first live-action Star Wars television series in the four-decade history of the brand will launch in 15 days on the first active day of the Disney+ streaming service that promises to instantly transform the streaming entertainment marketplace.

It has been previously reported that the events of this show are set between Star Wars Episode 6 (Return of the Jedi) and Episode 7 (The Force Awakens). But judging by the character posters, Pascal's titular Mandalorian may not be as much of a lone wolf as his descriptions suggests - it looks like he'll at least cross paths with Carano's former Rebel Shock Trooper-turned-mercenary who fought in the civil war for the Rebel Alliance, Weathers' leader of a bounty hunter guild, and Waititi's eccentric droid. "It is a shame that your people suffered".

It makes a lot of sense seeing as the most well known Trandoshan, Bossk, mentored the world's most famous Mandalorian, Boba Fett.

The Mandalorian is seen in his bounty hunter tactical gear, surveying the scene when he starts battling against a number of different foes.

The Mandalorian debuts on Disney+ November 12.

The cast includes Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, and Carl Weathers.

The Mandalorian was created by executive producer Jon Favreau, the filmmaker best known for Iron Man and The Jungle Book.
