CFB Playoff Committee explains Penn State football’s ranking
Though Clemson and its fans could take the rankings as a sign of disrespect, there is no real reason for them to panic yet. Those teams could include teams such as No. 6 Georgia (7-1), No. 7 OR (7-1), No. 8 Utah (7-1) and No. 9 Oklahoma (7-1).

The Alabama Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers will square off for their annual football showdown in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, this weekend, and President Donald Trump is expected to be there for some of the action. Trump was at Game 5 of the World Series in Washington D.C. and he was at UFC 244 in New York City.

Trump previously attended the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in Atlanta between Alabama and Georgia in January 2018.

The game is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. If everyone in Washington who voted for Mr Trump was in that stadium, they would only account for about a quarter of the seats.

The Secret Service had locked down all routes around the stadium, and tightly controlled all entrances, as is standard procedure for any president.
