The played Monica Geller and Chandler Bing in the worldwide TV phenomenon, Friends, and it seems their friendship had stood the test time as Courtney Cox has shared a picture of the pair enjoying a lunch date.

Jennifer was honoured at the Beverly Hills event with the Artists Inspiration Award and her friends - on and off screen - were there to show their support. Her first post in October was none other than a shot of a Friends cast reunion.

However, all was forgiven as Courteney and their castmate Lisa Kudrow joined the star for the evening, where she was one of the night's guests of honour.

Well now there's another pic that "Friends" fans can "oooh" and "aww" about.

Cox weighed in backstage about her longtime bestie. "[I'm] just so happy to be here to support her".

'That experience set the bar for the rest of my career and it taught me to surround myself with supportive people who make me better.

On November 7, Cox and Perry's reunion selfie went live, causing a ruckus among fans and cast members alike. While Jennifer Aniston wrote, "MATTY!"

The actress, 50, made the remark while speaking at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's 4th Annual Patron of the Artists Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, where she was honoured for her philanthropy. Aniston, who was seen as Rachel Green in the show, joked.

Though a Friends reboot isn't in the works (yet), Aniston hinted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the cast could work together again, but it might be on a different project.

"I know! How come we don't get invited to that?"

"There's a lot of different ideas", Aniston said, "but who knows?"
