Target released its big Black Friday ad on Wednesday and detailed its plans for store hours on the holiday weekend.

Walmart hasn't yet said when its sales on Thanksgiving and Black Friday will begin. Following the two-day preview, HoliDeals will continue in the form of the retailer's well-known "Weekend Deals" (starting Saturday, November 16 and running through Sunday, December 15). At which point, several more deals will likely be announced. To kick off this year's Black Friday news, Target has announced its Pixel 4 deal, and boy is it good.

The store will also have great deals on gaming consoles, vacuum cleaners and, of course, televisions. Not the biggest savings in the world - and we expect Amazon will do more on this front down the line - but if you're after these kinds of products, why not check them out? Target is bringing back its Early Access Sale on November 27 for RedCard holders.

Yooka-Laylee dev squashes rumors of work on new Banjo-Kazooie
Playtonic Games has said it would "love to" make a new Banjo-Kazooie game, should Microsoft ever approach the studio. Whereas we'd like to work with the bear and chook once more, that ball isn't in our courtroom.

"This is the busiest time of year for our guests, and with the shortened season, we want to make it as easy as possible for them to cross everything off their holiday list at Target", says Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief marketing and digital officer at Target in a press release.

While you should always keep in mind to price compare before buying, the best advice we can offer for this year's Black Friday season is to set a budget for yourself and stick to it.

But you certainly don't need to wait until Thanksgiving.
