Waiters was unconscious when the plane landed, and suffered a seizure when he awakened, according to Andy Slater of South Florida's FOX Sports 640 radio.

The Heat lost to the Lakers Friday, 80-95.

Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters experienced a panic attack on the team's charter flight Thursday night after consuming a THC-infused edible, sources told ESPN. "That's all I'll talk about", James said.

There's still a lot of games left to be played, but so far, the Purple and Gold look like the team to beat in the National Basketball Association.

A deep postseason run could be on the horizon for the Los Angeles Lakers, but LeBron James isn't interested in missing any games beforehand due to load management. Former players of the franchise have good reason to be proud as the team appears to have wholeheartedly embraced the Heat culture.

If that turns out to be true, I wonder how they'll explain their appearance. But hopefully, this won't deter people from watching the movies.

Waiters was not with the team at Staples Center for Friday night's game, and has yet to be on the bench for a game this season, after being suspended for the October 23 season-opening victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at AmericanAirlines Arena due to what the Heat determined to be conduct detrimental to the team.

When Spoelstra was asked after the game about the "gummies" report he walked away and said no comment.

The Heat were on a three-game road trip that included a stop in Denver (marijuana use is legal in Colorado), and then they flew to Phoenix.

Waiters, 27, was suspended last month after an argument with a coach following a preseason game against the Houston Rockets.

The concern obviously rests with Waiters' health, but the Heat certainly can't be too happy with these developments, especially considering there have apparently been several other incidents this year that led up to his earlier suspension.
