A winter storm is blazing its way towards southwest MI, causing the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Weather Advisory from 3AM -7PM Monday. As far as amounts we are thinking 2-4 inches for most areas with the system snow, then lake-effect could bring another 4-8 inches, perhaps higher in spots in the main lake effect areas. If you're not in the lake effect zone, you are done with snow by late Monday afternoon. With snow under foot and steam above, it'll be the kind of day for a hood and a hat as fall fades to wintry weather. Along with accumulating snowfall, winds are expected to increase to 20 to 30-mph from 3 a.m. through 9 a.m. Monday morning, resulting in blowing snow and poor travel conditions.

Cold weather settles in on Tuesday, with highs in the upper 20s in both Akron and Cleveland.

'Last Christmas': Homage to George Michael
And I know, and it saddens me terribly, because I know I would love him. Last Christmas will be released in United Kingdom cinemas November 15.

"It makes me feel very sad, when I think about it possibly dropping in temperature, it reminds me of the polar vortex past year and I just hope we're not heading that ways again", resident Chasity Boyce said. The highest accumulations will be focused where lake effect bands persist.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with lake effect snow showers.
