Friends Reunion Special on the cards for one night only

The site claims Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, as well as series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman, are all being sought after to appear in the unscripted reunion. The report also notes that if a deal is made, the issue would then be lining up all of the schedules of the talent involved, which could prove to be another challenge of its own. According to The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline, an unscripted Friends reunion special is in the works at HBO Max.

In July, it was reported that WarnerMedia, which owns HBO Max, had obtained the rights to "Friends" - which originally aired between 1994 and 2004 - after a bidding war with Netflix, who are removing the show from their service. As of now, the makers as well as the streaming platform have declined to comment on the subject.
