While Apple is marketing Apple Music Replay as a "year-end" feature, it'll actually be available year-round and the songs it contains will be updated every Sunday, based on your listening habits.

Apple Music and Spotify are two of the biggest streaming services in the world.

While it sounds very similar to Spotify's Wrapped, there's a key difference.

But while Spotify's Wrapped is more of an annual retrospective, Apple Music Replay will continue to be updated all year long, evolving as your musical tastes and interests do throughout the year. Believed to have been originally reported by users on social media, the development has now been confirmed by the Swedish firm to TechCrunch, saying the feature is being tested on the company's mobile apps to a small number of users in select markets. This includes the albums that you listened to and your favourite artists, while the service also compiles your favourite tracks of the year into a playlist for nostalgic session.

Apple Music has launched a brand new feature called Replay, which compiles your most listened to songs of the year into a playlist.

Apple Music has finally done it. Just listen to the tracks you like and at the end of the year you will get a playlist of your most-played songs. Perhaps this is what Apple was shooting for - a rolling playlist that changes throughout the year and caps it off December 31. There's also a breakdown of your top 10 favorite albums and how often you listen to those as well.

You can also add the playlists straight to your library.
