Clive Owen is set to play President Bill Clinton on Impeachment: American Crime Story, ET has learned. Trump regularly leads chants of "lock her up" at his rallies, in reference to Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Owen joins Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story) as Linda Tripp along with Booksmart breakout star Beanie Feldstein as Monica Lewinsky and Tony victor Annaleigh Ashford (Masters of Sex). The season will focus on the impeachment scandal that surrounded Clinton during his presidency due to his affair with Monica Lewinsky, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Toobin's book, "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson" was used as a basis for the first season of the anthology series. Sarah Burgess will write the scripts, while Lewinsky will serve as a producer on the drama. Director Ryan Murphy, however, recently said the date may be changed, but the production start was pushed forward a month while Murphy directs "Prom" with Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, and James Corden, and while Paulsen plans a break before returning to play Tripp. I think the reason why it's interesting is because you don't have to change anything to feel modern.
