According to the information provided Grounded is being put together by a small team at Obsidian - so it shouldn't be considered the next and only game in development at the studio.

Grounded is the brand new IP in development at Obsidian Entertainment, a studio beloved for its RPGs that appears to be exploring a fearless new world with a new genre.

We don't know when the big new marquee RPG will release, but it could launch in 2020 alongside Microsoft's next-gen Project Scarlett system. Grounded will support solo play as well as four-player co-op where everyone can team up to take on missions.

In Grounded, you are shrunk to the size of an ant and must survive in the attractive yet perilous micro-world of a suburban backyard.

You must gather, craft and build bases with everyday objects, searching for life-saving resources such as the dew off grass to quench your thirst or transforming an acorn shell into body armor to defend against a host of unpredictable creatures. This will all take place in a "versatile, handcrafted sandbox structure" and will let players "create their own experience from the ground up".

And to quash the knee-jerk reactionary types out there, Microsoft notes, "RPGs like The Outer Worlds will always be in Obsidian's DNA, but from time to time we want to stretch our creative muscles and try things that might be a little different".

Instagram Testing Hidden Like Counts Globally
Users who are part of the test were picked randomly and won't be able to see how many likes posts appearing on their feed have. Instagram had announced the hiding of likes in the U.S. market last week . 'It's about young people.

Microsoft has been a fantastic partner for Grounded which was in development long before the acquisition past year.

The game's story hasn't been revealed yet, so we're not sure how they shrunk down.

Grounded will be available "digitally" in 2020 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, with Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Preview.

The world is a vast, beautiful, and risky place, especially when you have been shrunken to the size of an ant. Explore, build, and survive together in this first person, multiplayer, survival-adventure.
