Vikings erase 20-point deficit to beat Broncos

Kirk Cousins was 29-of-35 passing for 319 yards and three touchdowns to lead Minnesota to a come-from-behind 27-23 home win over the Denver Broncos. Nothing went right for the Vikings in the first 30 minutes, a fact summed up nicely by CBS play-by-play man Kevin Harlan.

After Noah Fant snuck by the Vikings defense for a big gain early, the Broncos got a field goal from Brandon McManus to open the scoring.

Following a 47-yard field goal by Brandon McManus, the Broncos took a 10-0 lead with 4:43 left in the first quarter on a 3-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Allen to Troy Fumagalli, capping off a 90-yard drive in six plays.

With the Vikings' defense bending but not breaking, Minnesota scored on their third straight possession to open the half, with Cousins finding Stefon Diggs for a 54-yard bomb that whittled the lead down to a single possession at 23-20.

The Denver Broncos return from their week ten bye and will face the Vikings in Minnesota on Sunday.

Those player now have two weeks to prepare for the Seahawks in Seattle on December 2.
